About A visit to Memphis

On a bright, sunny morning last week I
caught a flight to Memphis

and was rewarded with this bright smile
from sweet, little Evangeline

her mom, Amy

and her grandpa, Butch.

We celebrated birthdays

with family and chocolate cake

and play time with babies.

I spent time walking with mom 

and happy little dogs.

Sang "happy birthday" to her
as we celebrated her 81 years

and busted with pride at how MY granddaughter,
her great-granddaughter, 4 year old
Becca, wrote her a happy birthday card!!

On the return flight a week later I had amazing
views of the Chesapeake Bay

and a gorgeous sun set as we taxied up to the
gate in Baltimore.
